There is no doubt that the property sector could do more to attract top female talent to the sector. Recent surveys we conducted tell us that only 6% of CFO's with the sector are women, and only 18% are at Financial Controller level.

HR seems to have a healthy quota of women, but what about finance professionals?

We are doing our bit though, and 51% of all placements we have made in the past six years are women. Interestingly, ICAEW tell us that the split between newly qualified accountants are circa 50/50 male/female. So, are women attracted to other sectors rather than real estate? Or are they hitting glass ceilings in their career progression?
